Control Accessories

Rimor S.r.l. can provide all those control accessories necessary to automate, adjust and verify / control: flow rate and flow, pressure and temperature. Such as dust control probes for countless industrial applications, including air and gas dedusting systems, rotogravure lines, ovens, granule plastic material transport systems, trim extraction etc.

These control accessories can be made to be powered with different supply voltages.

Control accessories can be supplied running for installation in protected environments, ATEX zone, or IP 65 outdoor installation.

Rimor S.r.l. is able to supply these control accessories running from the panel or running complete with a container.

The operating instructions of the control accessories can be multilingual (Italian-English- French-German-Spanish). Rimor supplies control accessories with multilingual alphanumeric displays for its systems.

It is possible if provided, to adjust the operation, with the signal 4-20 m.

For all control accessories on request, Rimor S.r.l. can provide various accessories, including switches, buttons, lights, anti-condensation resistors.

With the control accessories, it is possible to manage the systems on board the machine or remotely, program any maintenance and manage the automation of the various systems.

Heat exchange/heating systems

RECUBE Burners – Direct or Indirect Burners

Direct gas or indirect burners with combustion chambers are exact solutions to ensure heating with an accuracy of +-1 °C of the air and extensive temperature modulations, from minimum to maximum with 1/15 excursions of modulation.

The guarantee of the correct heating of the air is obtained thanks to the shape of the heating stove of the burner, in the case of the burner in the air vein, which guarantees to transfer the heat to the air correctly.

Rimor’s design systems, with finite element CFD fluid dynamics simulation, guarantee to obtain an accurate crossing through the burner, which allows you to consistently operate safely in the heating phase and with maximum efficiency and maximum durability of the burner minimum dirt.

In the combustion and indirect heating chambers, Rimor offers precise flushing, obtained with directional fins elements that allow the flow of the entire combustion chamber to get a significant lowering of the fumes at the exit thus maximizing the efficiency of the machine.

In fact, in the combustion chambers, the combustion of the burner is made to cross through the chamber and is then expelled outside through an exchange chamber.

The better the exchange with the hot fluid, the lower the output temperature which in fact determines a leak to the outside.

Heat Recovery Units – Pack or Single Tube

Heat recovery units can be of three types:

Air Air Recuperators
Water Air Recuperators
Steam Air Recuperators
Air/air recuperators are heat exchange systems where a hot fluid is passed through a group of aluminium fins that are in contact with a cold circuit in which a fluid to be heated is passed.

The Rimor system for the use of air and air heat exchange systems is particularly effective thanks to the CFD calculation and verification system that guarantees an exact flow on the recuperator with directing fins, guaranteed to achieve the desired recovery performance.

The air/air recovery system allows obtaining an efficiency of over 90%, meaning with this value the result of heating the cold fluid compared to the hot fluid (for example, with hot fluid at 100 ° C and cold fluid at 0 ° C the result is 40 ° C of heating).

The air/air recovery system is also suitable for very hot fluids, for example, for heating systems with heat recovery of the fumes of a burner or oven, with the supply air of the burners themselves.

Air/air recovery systems are used in Heating systems for Printing & Converting and heating systems for drying furnaces and thermal heating furnaces in the field of heating for heat treatment of metals.

Air/air recuperators for high temperatures are pre-heating systems to obtain a pre-heating performance of the fluid in the recovery burners.

Heating systems are often combined with recuperators.

Septa silencers

Rimor has always been very attentive to safety and acoustic well-being in the workplace.

To realise its septal silencers, Rimor uses multiple components from rock wool of various densities to damping sheaths. Thanks to 3D software, Rimor can build septa silencers with an aerodynamic profile and use multiple materials for the structure, from simple sheet metal to stainless steel, etc. Rimor manufactures septa silencers with variable thicknesses. The material from which septa of septa silencers are made is not hygroscopic, does not favour the development and formation of spores or bacteria.

Rimor can supply silencers to septa, complete with custom-made coupling flanges.

Practically any attenuation can be achieved thanks to the possibility of varying the section, length, type and thickness of the sound-absorbing septa and the width of the air passage

To realise the structures of its circular silencers, Rimor uses the latest generation machinery such as laser cutting with linear motors and the numerical control bending machine that can guarantee precision in the realization.

The external structure of the circular silencers is intended to contain the sound-absorbing septa.

The sound-absorbing partitions of circular silencers are generally made of rock wool panels of adequate thickness and density, mounted on a frame in a press-bent galvanized sheet, covered with an anti-mowing veil and protection net in microstate sheet.

Circular silencers with excellent aeraulic characteristics with low-pressure drops are used using flow simulation software.

The insertion attenuation does not contemplate the self-generated noise caused by the transit of air that can be neglected for values of the crossing speed between the septa vs less than 10-12 m / s. The attenuation values are influenced by the frequency, the size, the type of sound-absorbing material but above all, the length of the silencer and the presence or absence of the ogive.

Rimor pays particular attention to the sizing of circular silencers with and without ogival to avoid self-generated noise.

Circular Silencers

Thanks to 3D software, Rimor can build circular silencers with and without internal ogive with aerodynamic profile and use various materials for the structure from simple sheet metal to stainless steel, etc.

Rimor manufactures circular silencers of various diameters and is tailor-made. Rimor can produce circular silencers with a standard length equal to 1 times the diameter – 1.5 times the diameter – 2 times the diameter on request. The size may vary.

Rimor manufactures circular silencers with septa of various thicknesses.

The material from which the septa of circular silencers are made is not hygroscopic, does not favor the development and formation of spores or bacteria.

Rimor can supply circular silencers complete with custom-made coupling flanges and predisposition for lifting with cranes.

Being able to change the section of the circular silencer,its length, the type and thickness of the sound-absorbing septa and the width of the air passages, practically any attenuation can be achieved.

Flow and Flow Accessories

Rimor provides a flow and flow meter kit for its applications. The kit consists of two pressure gauges (one per delivery and one per suction) for flow detection via a pressure differential.

The Rimor measuring system is based on the venturi principle that allows the monitoring and management of the flow rate of the fans as the different load conditions of the aeraulic circuit vary, something that is impossible with traditional controls that act only on the frequency of the inverter.

In addition, the system allows energy savings due to precise adjustment without affecting performance.

This flow and flow control accessory can be made to be powered with different supply voltages.

The flow and flow meter kit can be running for installation in protected environments, ATEX zone, and/or outdoor installation IP 65.

Rimor is able to supply the flow and flow meter kit running from the panel or running complete with a container.

When Rimor needs to control and verify the pressure, it uses in its applications the digital differential pressure switch for the control of the differential pressure between 2 points with the following technical characteristics:

  • Differential pressure reading from internal transducer
  • Minimum and maximum dP alarm on separate relays
  • Zero dP read adjustment
  • 4 ÷ 20 mA signal in dP read output

Temperature, humidity, LEL control accessories

Within the process, it is essential to perform a check of the values of the affected parameters. The three main parameters are temperature, humidity in the case of processes involving water and steam, or LEL (lower explosive limit) in the case of the use of solvents that can be subject to combustion.

The LEL is the minimum concentration value expressed in g/m³ at which combustion can be ignited (e.g. 40 g/m³). The task of LEL meters is to maintain the solvent concentration at a certain percentage of this value (usually 25%). This can be done either using infrared LEL meters or by “LEL Flame” flame meters in case of lower concentrations and for certain types of solvent.

The temperature and humidity meter is then a suitable instrument for ensuring the correct measurement of the two parameters – also possible with a single device – in order to determine and maintain the amount of steam within the air-vapour mixture constant.

Temperature and humidity meters can also be used at high temperatures.

The quality of a measurement is not only given by the meter itself but also by the proper flushing of the meter: this is usually guaranteed by the simulation of the flows carried out by Rimor with the CFD finite element fluid dynamic simulator.

Therefore, proper flushing guarantees a correct measurement system to control the temperature, humidity, and quantity of solvent in the air, allowing recirculating flows with maximum safety and maximum process control.

Control accessories and systems 4.0

Control Accessories

The remote/local control system 4.0 represents an advanced control system of Rimor systems applied for the first time on sandblasting cabins that require safety and control and a precise cycle of start and stop of the machine.

The Control System of Rimor in perspective 4.0 is equipped with a precise control software. It allows you to manage the plant with the swarm concept where each system and element in the field is separated from the others and is independent to reduce the EMC impact. Everything is controlled remotely either with Android or iOS application or with a desktop control with Windows application.

The peculiarity of the Rimor ventilation control system is that it is able to guarantee a system management system by inverter, of the electromechanical parts and of the maintenance phase, managed safely.

Safety has always been at the centre of every Rimor project and the thought addressed to those who have to perform maintenance works even after years.

Rimor’s particular patents allow it to control flow rate and pressure effectively and reduce measurement errors to a minimum.

Rimor and Camit initially designed the 4.0 system to benefit from hyper-depreciation. Still, it then became a standard for Rimor’s plants, which can optimize the process and make the work easier and more understandable by each operator.
